Ommegang Adoration Special Winter Ale

Belgian Strong Dark Ale

Ommegang, Cooperstown, New York, USA

I RATE THIS BEER: 90

RELEASE: October // THE ABV. 10.0% | IBU’s. ? // THE NOSE: Heinz Hog Dog Relish, Pomegranate, Cinnamon, Redcurrant Jam, Orange Marmalade, Banana Pudding // THE TASTE: Marzipan, Radish, Coconut, Scallion, Green Bell Pepper, Pineapple, White Pepper, Mango // THE BOTTOMLINE: An enticing wave of sugary meat relish and sticky fruit preserve aromas mark the nose of this Belgian leaning winter special. On the palate big sweet tropical fruit, crispy salad and refreshing light pepper flavors all have their say and work to complement each other nicely. If you’re not a fan of sweeter Belgian beers, this may be a little much for you. Everyone else, pop the cork with confidence. // THE BACKBONE: Coriander, Cumin, Mace, Cardamom, Grains of Paradise, Sweet Orange Peel, Pils, Pale, Aroma and Caramel Malts, Styrian Golding Hops // PRICE POINT: $13 | 1x 26oz bottle //
